The Mariquita Hierro Hotel is in the heart of El Cotillo. El Cotillo continues to expand but is still a relatively quiet resort. If you wish to go into the bustling resort of Corralejo, there is a regular bus service - its approx 20 minute drive. From Corralejo you could take an excursion or sightseeing trip which you can book online. The drive from El Cotillo to the airport takes approx. 45 minutes.
